Building 174 Rehabilitation and Renovation
Scope of project:
Building 174 was a complete renovation and repair to an existing structure over 160,000sq-ft. The project achieved LEED silver certification through energy efficient systems such as lighting and controls and a photovoltaic power generation system. We provided Design+Build services for this project, including value engineering services and feasibility studies to assist the team in maintaining budgets and schedule, while exceeding all customer expectations. Our construction team has installed all power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, mass notification, and other electrical systems for the office, cafeteria, warehouse, and support space.
Key project details:
Project included a 12.5kW photovoltaic generation system and achieved LEED silver certification. Installed automated lighting controls monitor and control lights with both occupancy sensing and day-light harvesting. Our engineering team worked through inception of this project on the Design+Build team mitigating issues and solving most problems prior to construction.
